Stanley Brock Biography
Stanley Brock (July 7, 1931 – January 25, 1991) was an American actor known for his work in film and television. He portrayed Howie Hoffstedder in the popular American daytime soap opera, Days of Our Lives, appearing in 78 episodes. Brock also played Ivan Bronski in the short-lived sitcom, He's the Mayor, and portrayed Harvey Bilchik in the 1989 film, UHF. Throughout his career, he made guest appearances in various television shows, including One Day at a Time, Charlie's Angels, Happy Days, Knots Landing, Hill Street Blues, The A-Team, Quantum Leap, and Highway to Heaven. Notable recurring roles include Bruno Binder in Barney Miller, and appearances in The Rockford Files and Night Court. Brock passed away at the age of 59 due to a heart attack in Los Angeles.
