Stephanie Courtney is an American actress and comedian born on February 8, 1970. She gained recognition for her portrayal of the advertising character Flo in Progressive Corporation's television and radio commercials since 2008. Courtney has also appeared in various recurring roles on television series, including Tom Goes to the Mayor, where she voiced Renee the Receptionist and Joy Peters, as well as Mad Men, where she played Marge, and Cavemen, where she portrayed Diane. Additionally, she has made appearances in shows like Men of a Certain Age and The Goldbergs. Courtney is a former member of The Groundlings, an improvisational and sketch comedy theater in Los Angeles. She was born in Stony Point, New York, and graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in English in 1992.
