Stephanie D'Abruzzo

Stephanie Ann D'Abruzzo (born December 7, 1971) is an American actress, puppeteer, and singer known for her work with the Muppets on Sesame Street. She has portrayed various Muppet characters on the popular TV program. D'Abruzzo has held starring roles on shows like Oobi and The Book of Pooh. She gained recognition as one of the original cast members of the stage musical Avenue Q, earning a nomination for Best Actress in a Musical in 2004. D'Abruzzo was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and grew up in McMurray. She graduated from Peters Township High School and attended the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts. She is a 1993 graduate of Northwestern University's Radio/Television/Film program.
