Stephen Collins Biography
Stephen Weaver Collins (born October 1, 1947) is an American actor known for his role as Eric Camden on the WB/CW television series 7th Heaven from 1996 to 2007. He also portrayed Dayton King on the ABC television series No Ordinary Family and Gene Porter in the NBC television series Revolution. Collins gained recognition for his role as Commander Willard Decker in the 1979 film Star Trek: The Motion Picture and the ABC television series Tales of the Gold Monkey. Unfortunately, in 2014, Collins admitted to sexual misconduct against multiple minors, which led to the end of his career. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. Collins attended Amherst College, where he graduated cum laude.
