    Stephen Critchlow Biography
    Stephen Critchlow (22 November 1966 – 19 September 2021) was a British actor known for his work in theatre, radio, and television. He gained recognition for his appearances on radio series such as Truly, Madly, Bletchley, The Way We Live Right Now, and Spats, along with radio episodes of Torchwood and Doctor Who. Critchlow also made notable appearances in Kenneth Williams: Fantabulosa!, Red Dwarf XI, and Hattie. In addition, he had a successful career in the West End, including his role in The 39 Steps. Born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Critchlow trained at Mountview Drama School in London. He passed away in September 2021 at the age of 54 after battling cancer.
