Stephen Moyer

Stephen Moyer (born Stephen John Emery on 11 October 1969) is an English actor. He gained recognition for his portrayal of the vampire Bill Compton in the HBO television series True Blood. Moyer's acting career began with his big-screen debut in the film adaptation of the comic strip Prince Valiant in 1997. He has also appeared in the television film Lord of Misrule. From 2017 to 2019, Moyer starred as the lead character Reed Strucker in the Fox series The Gifted. He was born in Brentwood, Essex and attended St Martin's comprehensive school in Hutton, Essex. Moyer is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
