Stephen Nichols

Stephen Earl Nichols (born February 19, 1951) is an American actor known for his roles on American daytime soap operas. Since 1985, he has portrayed Steve "Patch" Johnson on NBC's Days of Our Lives intermittently. From 1996 to 2003, he played Stefan Cassadine on ABC's General Hospital, and from 2009 to 2013, he portrayed Tucker McCall on The Young and the Restless. Nichols is married to Lisa Gordon since 1984, and together they have three children: Vanessa, Aaron, and Dylan. Nichols' son, Aaron, appeared as young Steve Johnson on Days of Our Lives, while Dylan has pursued a music career. Nichols has also spent time as a monk, studying yoga and preparing vegetarian meals for monks and nuns in a Hollywood ashram.
