    Stephen Plunkett (born September 1, 1981) is an American actor known for his performances in film, television, and theater. He gained recognition for his roles in the NBC series, Rise, and John Magary's The Mend, premiering at the 2014 South by Southwest Film Festival. Plunkett has also made notable appearances in New York theater productions such as War Horse, The Orphans' Home Cycle, Gone Missing, and This Beautiful City. Born in Jacksonville, Texas, Plunkett attended the University of Evansville and received a Master of Fine Arts from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He is an associate artist of The Civilians and has been featured in various film festivals, including Sundance Film Festival.
