Stephen Wight Biography
Stephen Wight (born Stephen Gray; 27 February 1980) is an English actor known for his work in both television and film. Raised and educated on the Isle of Wight, he adopted the name of the island as his stage name. Wight's television career began in 2003 with appearances in series such as A Touch of Frost and Diamond Geezer. He gained recognition for his performances in stage productions, including Don Juan in Soho, for which he won the Milton Shulman Award for Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in 2007. Wight has also been nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for his role in Dealer's Choice. His notable TV and film credits include Misfits, Sherlock, Bluestone 42, and Manhunt. Wight has recently appeared in Silent Witness and is set to appear in Andor and Rain Dogs in the coming years.
