Sterling K. Brown
Sterling Kelby Brown (born April 5, 1976) is an American actor known for his roles in television and film. He has received numerous accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. Brown gained recognition for portraying Christopher Darden in the FX limited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story (2016) and for his portrayal of Randall Pearson in the NBC drama series This Is Us (2016–2022), which also earned him critical acclaim and awards. In addition to his television work, Brown has had supporting roles in films such as Black Panther (2018) and Waves (2019). He has also appeared in the Amazon Prime comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2019) and lent his voice to characters in the animated films The Angry Birds Movie 2 and Frozen II (both 2019). Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Brown grew up with two sisters and two brothers. His father passed away when he was 10 years old.
