Steve Guttenberg Biography
Steven Robert Guttenberg, born on August 24, 1958, is an American actor, author, businessman, producer, and director. He gained fame in the 1980s and 1990s for his lead roles in popular Hollywood films such as Cocoon, Police Academy, Three Men and a Baby, Diner, The Bedroom Window, Three Men and a Little Lady, The Big Green, and Short Circuit. Guttenberg was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens. He attended Plainedge High School and also studied at the Juilliard School under John Houseman. Guttenberg's career started with an off-Broadway production of The Lion in Winter.
