Steve Hely

Steve Hely is an American writer and co-executive producer on the TV series Veep. He has written for various television shows, including Late Show with David Letterman, Last Call with Carson Daly, American Dad!, 30 Rock, and The Office. Hely has also authored or co-authored two books. One of them, The Ridiculous Race, chronicles a real-life race around the world he undertook with Vali Chandrasekaran. His debut novel, How I Became a Famous Novelist, won the 2010 Thurber Prize for American Humor. Hely is also the co-host of the podcast The Great Debates, where he engages in lively discussions on important topics with David King.
