Steve John Shepherd (born 1 August 1973) is an English actor known for his roles in TV dramas and soap operas. He gained recognition for portraying Jo in the TV drama This Life and Michael Moon in the soap opera EastEnders from 2010 to 2013. Shepherd was born in London and attended St Bonaventure's Catholic School, where he developed an interest in acting. His mixed heritage includes English, Burmese, and Chinese ancestry. With a career spanning several decades, Shepherd has appeared in various films and TV shows, including Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002), Layer Cake (2004), and Dalziel and Pascoe. He resides in west London with his wife Anna Wilson-Jones and their three children.
