Stephen Douglas Kerr is an American professional basketball coach and former player. Born on September 27, 1965, Kerr is currently the head coach for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is renowned for his exceptional three-point shooting skills and is considered one of the most accurate three-point shooters in NBA history. Kerr has an impressive track record, having won a total of nine NBA championships, five as a player and four as head coach of the Warriors. Prior to his coaching career, Kerr played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats, where he earned All-American honors and set the NCAA single-season three-point field goal percentage record.
