Steven Blakeley Biography
Steven Blakeley (born 26 February 1982) is a British actor known for his role as PC Geoff Younger in the police drama Heartbeat. He has made guest appearances in various other television shows and has played multiple theatre roles. Blakeley was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire in 1982 and grew up in Bolsover. He attended Bolsover School and initially had aspirations of pursuing a medical career before shifting his focus to acting. He began his career as a member of the Derby Playhouse Community and Youth Theatre companies and later trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow and the Athanor Academy in Germany. His theatre credits include national tours of The Private Ear and The Public Eye, Dry Rot, Funny Peculiar, Diary of a Nobody, Boeing-Boeing, Selling the Sizzle, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
