Steven Martini Biography
Steven Martini is a multi-talented writer, actor, composer, editor, and singer/songwriter. He gained recognition for his role as Cadet Alex J. Stone in the film Major Payne. Alongside his brother Derick Martini, Steven co-wrote the films Smiling Fish and Goat on Fire and Lymelife, drawing inspiration from their own childhood experiences. Lymelife received critical acclaim and won the FIPRESCI award at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival. Steven is also known as the singer/songwriter for the Los Angeles-based band The Spaceship Martini. With his brother, he co-wrote and starred in the silent film Louis, portraying the Karnofsky brothers who played a significant role in helping Louis Armstrong obtain his first trumpet.
