    Steven McNicoll Biography
    Steven McNicoll is a Scottish actor, director, playwright, and television presenter. He gained recognition for co-writing and starring in the BBC sketch show Velvet Soup, which received a BAFTA nomination. McNicoll is best known for his portrayal of the young Rab C Nesbitt in the series of the same name, alongside Gregor Fisher. He is a regular cast member in the Sony Award-winning BBC Radio 4 sitcom Fags, Mags and Bags, playing the character Jeff. Additionally, he has presented four series of the educational program Around Scotland for the BBC. McNicoll has also co-written several plays for stage and radio, including the Hamilton Deane Award-winning drama There Are Such Things, based on the life of Bela Lugosi.
