Steven Yeun, born Yeun Sang-yeop on December 21, 1983, is an American actor. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Glenn Rhee in the TV series The Walking Dead from 2010 to 2016. Yeun's performances in the thriller Burning (2018) and drama Minari (2020) received critical acclaim. Notably, Minari earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor, making him the first Asian American actor to achieve this honor. In 2023, he starred in the dark comedy series Beef, which garnered him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
