Stu Nahan
Stu Nahan (June 23, 1926 – December 26, 2007) was an American sportscaster known for his television broadcasting career in Los Angeles from the 1950s to the 1990s. He gained recognition as a boxing commentator in the first six Rocky films. Born in Los Angeles, Nahan moved to Canada at age 2 and grew up playing ice hockey. He played as a goalie at McGill University in Montreal and signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1946. Nahan started his career as 'Skipper Stu' on a children's television program in Sacramento. He later worked as a sportscaster for KCRA in Sacramento and hosted his own children's show in New Jersey near Philadelphia.
