Sully Boyar Biography
Irving 'Sully' Boyar (December 14, 1923 – March 23, 2001) was an American actor of Russian-Jewish descent. Before pursuing acting, Boyar worked as a lawyer. He was a life member of the Actors Studio and had a twin brother named Samuel. Boyar's notable film credits include Dog Day Afternoon (1975), The Panic in Needle Park (1971), The King of Marvin Gardens (1972), and Prizzi's Honor (1985), among others. He also appeared in the first 4 seasons of Law & Order on television. Boyar was known for his versatile acting skills and his contributions to both film and theater.
