Summer Bishil (born July 17, 1988) is an American actress known for her roles in film and television. She gained recognition for her performance as Jasira in the 2007 film Towelhead, which earned her a nomination for Best Female Lead at the Independent Spirit Awards. Bishil has also appeared in projects like The Last Airbender (2010), 90210 (2011), and the short-lived series Lucky 7 (2013). From 2015 to 2020, she portrayed Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians. Born in Pasadena, California, Bishil is the youngest of three children. Her mother has Mexican heritage, while her father is of Indian descent. Bishil spent part of her childhood in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain before returning to the United States.
