Summer Glau

Summer Lyn Glau (born July 24, 1981) is an American actress known for her roles in science fiction and fantasy television series. She gained recognition for her portrayal of River Tam in the TV series Firefly (2002) and its film continuation Serenity (2005). Glau also appeared as Tess Doerner in The 4400 (2005–2007), Cameron in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008–2009), and Isabel Rochev / Ravager in Arrow (2013–2014). Born in San Antonio, Texas, Glau grew up with her two younger sisters and received a ballet scholarship. After a toe injury, she transitioned to acting and moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue her career.
