Suraj Sharma

Suraj Sharma is an Indian actor known for his role in the 2012 film Life of Pi. Born on March 21, 1993, Sharma made his acting debut in the critically acclaimed movie directed by Ang Lee. He received immense praise for his performance and even earned a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination. In 2014, Sharma appeared in the fourth season of the Showtime series Homeland, playing the character Aayan Ibrahim. From 2018 to 2020, he starred as Rakesh Singh in the CBS comedy-drama series God Friended Me. Sharma was born and raised in New Delhi, India, and attended Sardar Patel Vidyalaya secondary school. He later pursued his studies at St. Stephen's College, Delhi University.
