Susan Linda Bay Nimoy is an American actress and director born on March 16, 1943. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Admiral Rollman in two episodes of the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Bay was also part of the Original Six, a group of women directors who formed the Women's Steering Committee of the Directors Guild of America to combat gender discrimination in Hollywood. She has directed several documentaries and the American premiere of Shakespeare's Will in 2007. Bay returned to directing in 2018 with Eve, a film that explores themes of aging and mourning. She made her first appearances in The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis and The Skydivers in 1963 and went on to appear in various TV series and films throughout the 1960s.
