Susan Blakely Biography
Susan Blakely (born September 7, 1948) is an American actress known for her leading role in the 1976 ABC miniseries Rich Man, Poor Man. She received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama and an Emmy nomination for her performance. Blakely has also appeared in films such as The Towering Inferno (1974), Report to the Commissioner (1975), Capone (1975), The Concorde ... Airport '79 (1979), and Over the Top (1987). Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Blakely is the daughter of an Army colonel. She studied acting in New York and Los Angeles, and began her career as a model before transitioning to acting.
