Susan Feniger
Susan Feniger is an American chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and radio and TV personality. She gained recognition for her role in the cooking show Too Hot Tamales on the Food Network and for her contributions to the Los Angeles dining scene. Feniger, along with her longtime collaborator Mary Sue Milliken, founded City Cafe in 1981, which later expanded and transformed into City Restaurant. In 1985, they opened Border Grill, a Mexican restaurant, initially located at the original City Cafe space. They later moved Border Grill to Santa Monica and expanded to other locations, including Pasadena and Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. Feniger and Milliken also opened Ciudad, a Latin flavor restaurant, in Los Angeles in 1998. Feniger has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the California Restaurant Association.
