Susan Gibney is an American actress known for her roles in various television series. She was born on September 11, 1961, in Manhattan Beach, California, and later moved to Webster, New York. Gibney graduated from Buffalo State College with a major in theater and went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama. Some of her notable television appearances include portraying Maggie Harris on Happy Family, Janis Archer on Diagnosis: Murder, and Rene Walcott on Crossing Jordan. Gibney also appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation as Dr. Leah Brahms and in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as Commander Erika Benteen.
