Susan Peretz (March 2, 1940 – August 27, 2004) was an American actress known for her performances in television and film. She appeared in popular TV shows such as Barney Miller, Married... With Children, ER, Murder, She Wrote, L.A. Law, and Cagney & Lacey. Peretz starred in the television series Babes for one season, alongside Wendie Jo Sperber and Lesley Boone. In addition to her TV work, she also appeared in notable films including Dog Day Afternoon, Melvin and Howard, and Honkytonk Man. Born in New York City, Peretz graduated from SUNY Buffalo and began her acting career after joining the Actors Studio. She also founded and taught acting at the Third Street Theatre in Los Angeles. Susan Peretz passed away from breast cancer on August 27, 2004, in Los Angeles.
