    Susan Powter (born December 22, 1957) is an Australian-born American motivational speaker, nutritionist, personal trainer, and author. She gained fame in the 1990s with her weight-loss infomercial featuring the catchphrase 'Stop the Insanity!'. Powter hosted her own talk show, The Susan Powter Show, which aired for one season. In addition to discussing nutrition and fitness, she covered various topics with her guests. Powter also made a special guest appearance on the first episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast titled 'Spanish Translation'. While it was planned for her to be a regular on the sitcom Women of the House in 1995, the series was cancelled before her episode aired.
