Susan Prior Biography
Susan Prior is an Australian actress known for her work in films, television series, and stage productions. She graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney. Prior has appeared in numerous productions with the Sydney Theatre Company, including Riflemind. She has also made notable appearances in various films and television series. In 2022, Prior received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Martha in a State Theatre Company South Australia production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. She won the 2014 AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in The Rover and was nominated for the 2012 AACTA Award for Best Guest or Supporting Actress in a Television Drama for Puberty Blues. Prior has received two Helpmann Award nominations for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play, one in 2008 for Riflemind and another in 2014 for Small and Tired.
