Susan Ruttan

Susan Diane Ruttan (née Dunsrud) is an American actress born on September 16, 1948, in Oregon City, Oregon. She is best known for her role as Roxanne Melman on L.A. Law (1986–1993), which earned her four nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Ruttan graduated from the University of Oregon and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to her role on L.A. Law, she gained attention for playing Gil Cunningham's wife on The Jeffersons. Ruttan has also made appearances on popular TV shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, AfterMash, Bosom Buddies, Third Rock from the Sun, Remington Steele, Yes, Dear, Newhart, and Gilmore Girls.
