Sven-Ole Thorsen Biography
Sven-Ole Thorsen (born 24 September 1944) is a Danish former actor, stuntman, bodybuilder, and strongman competitor. He gained recognition for his imposing stature and often portrayed giants and villains in films. However, he also played heroic characters such as Gunnar the legendary warrior in The Viking Sagas. Thorsen is best known for his frequent appearances in movies alongside his close friend Arnold Schwarzenegger, including Conan the Barbarian, The Running Man, and Predator. He has also portrayed other memorable characters like the security guard La Fours in Mallrats. In addition to his acting career, Thorsen won Denmark's Strongest Man in 1983. His autobiography, Stærk mand i Hollywood (Strong Man in Hollywood), was highly praised and sold out within 24 hours of its release.
