Sydney Mikayla

Sydney Mikayla Shepherd, professionally known as Sydney Mikayla, is an American actress born on February 1, 2003. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas in the 2014 Lifetime biopic, earning her a Young Artist Award. From 2019 to 2022, Mikayla appeared in the role of Trina Robinson on the ABC daytime soap opera, General Hospital. Additionally, she lends her voice to the character Wolf in the Netflix animated series Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. Sydney Mikayla's mother, Sonya Shepherd, is also an actress who has worked in various mediums including Broadway and film. Mikayla began her acting journey at a young age by enrolling in acting classes and dancing at Debbie Allen's Dance Academy.
