    Tahirah Sharif Biography
    Tahirah Amandla Sharif is a British actress from Brixton, South West London, known for her roles in various television shows and films. She gained recognition for her portrayal of student Carrie Norton in Waterloo Road in 2015. In 2020, Sharif starred as Rebecca Jessel in the Netflix horror anthology series The Haunting of Bly Manor. Her performance in the series earned her critical acclaim. In 2021, she portrayed PC Lizzie Adama in The Tower, which led to a Supporting Actress BAFTA nomination. Sharif, born to a Pakistani mother and Jamaican father, discovered her passion for acting at a young age. She attended the Brit School for Performing Arts & Technology and further honed her skills at the Identity School of Acting in London. She also appeared in the Film 4 short See Me and had notable roles in BBC drama One Night and ITV drama Whitechapel.
