Takashi Yamaguchi

Takashi Yamaguchi is a Japanese architect known for his contributions to the field of architecture. He was born in Kyoto and graduated from Kyoto University. Yamaguchi worked for Tadao Ando and Associates before establishing his own architectural firm, Takashi Yamaguchi & Associates, in 1996. He has held prestigious positions as a visiting professor at Osaka University of Arts, Columbia University, and Harvard. Currently, Yamaguchi is a professor at Osaka Sangyo University and a member of the Japan Institute of Architects and the Architectural Institute of Japan. He is also a Regional President of Asia Designer Communication Platform. Yamaguchi is a founding member of ARX, an international research group for architecture theory and practice.
