Takayo Fischer Biography
Takayo Fischer (born 1932) is an American stage, film, and television actress, as well as a voice-over actress. She is known for her diverse roles and talent in the entertainment industry. Fischer, the youngest of four daughters of Issei (Japanese immigrants) Chukuro and Kinko Tsubouchi, faced the challenges of being forcibly removed from the West Coast during World War II due to Executive Order 9066. After her release, she went on to become the crowned 'Miss Nisei Queen' and attended Rollins College. Fischer has appeared in numerous stage productions and worked as a voice-over actress. In 1980, she married Sy Fischer, an entertainment executive and longtime agent at Hanna-Barbera. Fischer currently resides in Los Angeles.
