    Tala Gouveia Biography
    Tala Gouveia is an English actress known for her role as DCI Lauren McDonald in the ITV crime drama McDonald & Dodds (2020-present). Born in Nottingham, Gouveia comes from a family of theatre actors and trained at the Bristol Old Vic. She made her television debut with a small role as Nurse Green in EastEnders (2011-2013). Gouveia has also appeared in other notable TV shows such as Cold Feet, Go Jetters, and Click & Collect. In addition, she has worked in film, appearing in Before We Grow Old (2019). Gouveia is also recognized for providing the voice of Cleo Farr in the animated series Scream Street.
