Tammy Gillis is a Canadian actress known for her work in television and film. Born in 1971 in Dauphin, Manitoba, she grew up in rural Manitoba and began her acting career on stage. After being discovered by a modeling agency while attending the University of Manitoba, Gillis landed commercials and her first film role in the acclaimed short film The Heart of the World, directed by Guy Maddin. Her onscreen credits include appearances in White Noise 2 and Shooter. Gillis also played a leading role in the indie feature film Under the Apple Box, which received recognition at the New Jersey Film Festival and Women's International Film Festival in Miami.
