    Tamzin Malleson (born May 1, 1974) is an English actress known for her work in film and television. She was born in Yeovil, England and attended Horsley Primary School in Horsley, Gloucestershire, where she first discovered her passion for acting. She continued to pursue her interest in drama at Archway School in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Malleson gained recognition for her role as Alison Dangerfield in the BBC drama Dangerfield, and later starred as Penny Neville in the Channel 4 comedy Teachers. She has also appeared in popular shows such as The Bill, A Touch of Frost, and the BBC medical drama Bodies. From series 14 to 17, Malleson played the role of Kate Wilding, the pathologist, in the long-running detective series Midsomer Murders.
