Tamzin Merchant

Tamzin Claire Merchant is an English actress and author, born in 1987 or 1988. She gained recognition for her role as Georgiana Darcy in the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice. Merchant is also known for her portrayal of Catherine Howard in the Showtime series The Tudors (2009–2010) and Anne Hale in the WGN America series Salem (2014–2017). Alongside her acting career, she wrote the 2021 children's book The Hatmakers. Merchant attended Windlesham House School and Brighton College, later pursuing a degree in English and Drama with Education at Homerton College, Cambridge. Her early credits include appearances in BBC dramas such as My Family and Other Animals, The Good Housekeeping Guide, and Casualty 1906.
