Tanya Berezin (born March 25, 1941) is an American actress, co-founder and artistic director of Circle Repertory Company in New York City, and educator. She attended Boston University College of Fine Arts and trained in the Meisner Technique with acting teacher Jim Tuttle. Berezin began her career in the 1960s and has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in several films and television series. She has worked with experimental theaters such as La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club and Caffe Cino. Berezin married Rob Thirkield, who introduced her to Marshall W. Mason and Lanford Wilson, both of whom played important roles in her life. She divorced Thirkield in 1977 and married actor Mark Wilson in 1987.
