    Tao Tsuchiya Biography
    Tao Tsuchiya (土屋太鳳) is a Japanese actress, model, dancer, lyricist, and singer. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Makimachi Misao in the Rurouni Kenshin movie series, Mai Nakahara in The 8-Year Engagement, Koharu in The Cinderella Addiction, and Yuzuha Usagi in Netflix's Alice in Borderland. Tsuchiya's older sister, Honoka, is a model, while her younger brother, Shimba Tsuchiya, is also an actor. She achieved prominence after being selected from 2,020 women in auditions for the leading role in the morning drama serial Mare, which aired in 2015. Tsuchiya's talent extends to the stage as well, having performed in a theatre production based on the manga Pluto, playing two main characters named Uran and Helena.
