Tara Lipinski

Tara Lipinski is an American former competitive figure skater, actress, sports commentator, and documentary film producer. Born on June 10, 1982, she gained recognition as the 1998 Olympic champion, the 1997 World champion, and a two-time Champions Series Final champion. Lipinski was the youngest single skater to win a U.S. Nationals, an Olympic gold, and a World championship until 2019. Notably, she was the first woman to successfully complete a triple loop-triple loop combination, a signature jump element, in competition. Throughout her professional career, Lipinski had a well-publicized rivalry with Michelle Kwan, culminating in her Olympic victory. After retiring from competitive figure skating in 1998, she continued to excel in her professional performances, winning every competition she entered in her career as a professional figure skater.
