Tawny Cypress

Tawny Cypress is an American actress known for her roles in various television series and stage plays. Born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, she grew up along the Jersey Shore in towns like Sea Girt, Belmar, and Red Bank. Cypress attended Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and later trained at the William Esper Studio. She gained recognition for her portrayal of art dealer Simone Deveaux on the TV series Heroes and has also appeared in shows like K-Ville, House of Cards, and Unforgettable. In 2019, Cypress starred in the film Inez & Doug & Kira and since 2021, she has been playing Taissa Turner on Showtime's Yellowjackets. She continues to contribute to the entertainment industry with her talent and dedication.
