Taylor Hawkins

Taylor Hawkins (February 17, 1972 – March 25, 2022) was an American musician, best known as the drummer of the rock band Foo Fighters. Before joining Foo Fighters in 1997, he toured with Sass Jordan and Alanis Morissette and was the drummer for the band Sylvia. In 2004, Hawkins formed his own side project, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, releasing three studio albums between 2006 and 2019. He also formed the supergroup NHC in 2020 with members from Jane's Addiction. Hawkins was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Hawkins later moved to Laguna Beach, California.
