Taylor Olson

Taylor Olson is a Canadian actor, writer, and filmmaker from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He gained recognition for his work in the 2020 film Bone Cage, where he served as the director, writer, and lead actor. This resulted in a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 9th Canadian Screen Awards. Born in Masset, British Columbia, Olson later moved to Halifax. He attended Dalhousie University's Fountain School of Performing Arts and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Theatre (Acting). With over 70 film and television credits, Olson has appeared in various productions such as Pure, Sex & Violence, Mr. D, Diggstown, Trailer Park Boys, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He has also worked on films like Black Cop, Hopeless Romantic, Spinster, Tin Can and Dawn, Her Dad and the Tractor, as well as the web series I Am Syd Stone.
