Ted Allen Biography
Ted Allen is an American author and television personality. He gained popularity as the food and wine connoisseur on the Bravo network's TV program Queer Eye. Since 2009, he has been the host of the TV cooking competition series Chopped, as well as Chopped Junior starting in 2015. Allen also hosted All-Star Academy, a retooled version of America's Best Cook, and a four-part special called Best. Ever. where he explored America's best burgers, pizza, breakfast, and barbecue. He is a contributing writer to Esquire magazine and has authored two cookbooks. Ted Allen is known for his appearances on various television cooking shows, including Beat Bobby Flay.
