Ted Sorel

Ted Sorel (November 14, 1936 – November 30, 2010) was an American actor known for his appearances in Guiding Light, Law & Order, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He also had roles in films such as From Beyond (1986) and Basket Case 2 (1990). Born Theodore Eliopoulos in San Francisco, California, Sorel adopted his professional name and obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of the Pacific. He was the son of Greek immigrants and renovated his grandfather's home in Kyparissi, Greece. Sorel resided in Katonah, New York, and passed away at the Lillian Booth Actors' Home in Englewood after a long illness.
