Tembi Locke

Tembi Locke is an American actress known for her appearances in television shows and films. She gained recognition for her roles as Dr. Grace Monroe in Syfy's series Eureka and as Dr. Diana Davis in Sliders. In addition to her acting career, Locke is also an accomplished author, best known for her bestselling memoir, From Scratch, which was later adapted into a limited series by Netflix. Locke was born to civil rights activist parents and attended Alief Hastings High School in Houston. She spent time in Italy on a foreign exchange program, where she appeared on Italian television. Locke graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in art history and speaks fluent Italian. She resides in Los Angeles and is an urban homesteader.
