Teri Austin
Teri Austin (born April 17, 1957) is a Canadian animal activist and former actress. She gained popularity in the 1980s and 1990s for her roles in various television shows and films. Austin is best known for her portrayal of Jill Bennett in the CBS primetime soap opera Knots Landing. She played the character from 1985 to 1989, and received the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Villain: Prime Time in 1990. Additionally, Austin appeared in popular TV shows such as Quantum Leap, Seinfeld, Matlock, Murder, She Wrote, and L.A. Law. Prior to her acting career, Austin co-hosted the Canadian reality series Thrill of a Lifetime. She is a graduate of York University in Toronto, Canada.
